“Mass and Newton’s 1st Law”

part one: 1. pushing or pulling doors in fast-food, markets, and malls.
2.pushing or pulling shopping-carts in markets, construction store like home depot.
3. pushing or pulling seats in fast-food, food court, and in school.                                                                                                                                                              part two: The amount of mass something has depends on matter:
 something that fills up space.
part three: example one describes inertia by not moving, and acting upon an unbalanced force.
example two describes inertia also the same don't do anything to it, if pushing or pulling it its an unbalanced force.
example three describes inertia is the same as the first two examples, its harder to move though.

“Inertia Investigation”

In my day my clock's hand in my bed room keeps on moving. My bed stayed still as i move my myself and my blanket. Miss Reid glow in the dark lamp's continue to move.
     Examples:
1. The earth's rotation continues to move
2. The White house in D.C. stays still

“Balanced and Unbalanced”

The forces on this person is Gravitational Force and Normal Force. What makes this person balanced is the floor is pushing up on the person to make him stand. And the gravity that is pulling him down so he won't levitate in the air like a Astronaut.

The forces on this book is Gravitational Force, Normal Force and Friction force. What makes this book unbalanced. As the book moves to the right, friction acts to the left to slow the book down. There is an unbalanced force; and as such, the book changes its state of motion.

''Free Body Diagrams''

http://www.meritnation.com/ask-answer/question/what-is-gravitation/science/6909794
One object is moving its the apple it is being pulled down by gravity to the ground.
One force is Gravitational Force as you can see the apple from the apple tree is being pulled down.
Another force is the earth's surface pushing up against the woman you see in the picture it's called Normal Force.

“Vectors & Scalar”

The difference between vector and scalar is scalar does not show direction.

- another vector quantity is the difference between horizontal and vertical movements.
- another scalar quantity is unchanged by coordinate systems rotations or reflections.

''Four Forces''

1) Applied force we used in class to move a cart with our finger ''pushing and pulling'' it.
EX in life: when i go grocery shopping in Costco with my family i would push to go foward to go fast or follow my dad. I would pull if am stuck, like cart traffic or people in our way.
2) Gravitational force in class we drop a index card and a ball to the ground and the question was what is making both objects move. Group thought ''gravity''.
EX in life: throwing food away in the trash in east boston high we throw food away with the tray and land with other trash.
3) Normal force  in class there are two things a tape roll and a pencil on a desk we have to explain why these two things are not falling to the ground. I thought the desk can be strong enough to hold them up.
EX in life: i would leave my laptop on my desk.
4) Tension force in class we have a barbie and a string if we hold the rubber band it will not fall and pulling the cart across the desk using the string. Because it is a pulling force deals for ex string.
EX in life: when i was younger i use to have this yoyo called ''yoyo ball'' i holded the string it did not fall to the ground unless i threw it hard.

''Thought Experiment''

1) A ''Thought experiment'' is a hypothesis of the consequence of the principle in question.

2) The Thought experiment i would love to do is how do batteries charge up and die out. I love to do this experiment to see how batteries react when it is connected to some machine or plastic materials.
